What services does Miwayz offer?

Miwayz launches with ride-hailing, with food delivery and more planned for the future.

How do I download the app?

The Miwayz app launches on 12 July 2026. You will be able to download it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store - or scan the QR code on this site to be taken to the right store automatically.

Is Miwayz available in my location?

Miwayz serves communities across Sri Lanka, with services continuing to expand and improve nationwide.

Is Miwayz free to use?

Yes, Miwayz is completely free to join. You only pay for the rides or services you use, with exclusive promotions available throughout the year.

Passengers

How do I book a ride?

Open the app, select the “Ride” section, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, choose your vehicle type, and confirm your booking.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?

Yes - you can schedule rides for a later time on select vehicle types using the “Pre-booking” feature.

How are fares calculated?

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and traffic conditions, including any applicable surcharges. You always see an estimate before you confirm.

What types of vehicles are available?

Miwayz offers Bikes, Tuk-Tuks, Cars and Vans to suit different journeys and budgets.

Can I track my ride in real-time?

Yes, you can track your driver's location and estimated arrival time live in the app - and share your trip ETA with loved ones.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, and in-app wallets. Business profiles are also supported.

Are my payment details secure?

Yes. Your payment information is protected using industry-standard encryption and trusted payment technology.

What should I do if I leave an item behind?

If you leave an item behind during your trip, contact our support team as soon as possible. We'll work with your driver to help recover it.

Drivers

What is the Miwayz Driver App?

The Miwayz Driver App allows drivers to accept ride and delivery requests, manage bookings, track their earnings, and provide transportation or delivery services.

Miwayz Munch is a future feature of the Miwayz platform. Our current focus is launching Miwayz Rides. Food delivery will be introduced in a future update.

How do I register as a driver?

Download the Miwayz Driver App, complete the registration, upload the required documents, and attend your vehicle inspection and verification appointment. Your account is activated after verification.

What documents are required for registration?

A valid driving licence for your vehicle category, NIC or Passport, the vehicle registration book, commercial insurance cover, and proof of address. You must also meet the minimum driving age for your city.

How can I check my earnings?

Your trip history is shown in the app, and your current balance is always visible in the Wallet section.

How do I get paid?

You can withdraw any positive balance from the Wallet once a day to your connected bank account - withdrawals are credited instantly.

Are there any deductions from my earnings?

Based on your account type and region, you are charged either a simple subscription or a per-trip commission - so you keep more of what you earn.

Can I see the customer's location before accepting?

Yes, the app shows the pickup location and estimated drop-off distance before you accept a request.

What happens if I miss a request?

Missing a request won't penalise you immediately, but consistently ignoring requests may affect your rating or account status.
